This page documents Burt’s SMS consent flow, message content, and compliance practices for The Campaign Registry (TCR) and Twilio campaign review. All mechanisms described below are in production.
Burt is a U.S. logistics operations platform used by freight brokers, shippers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to automate shipment tracking, carrier check-calls, and dispatch coordination using AI agents.
All messages on this campaign are sent by AI agents to carrier dispatchers and drivers regarding specific shipments the Burt tenant is actively brokering, shipping, or tracking. Consent basis is published business contact (see §3). Before an agent can send any SMS, the Burt tenant configuring that agent must click through a compliance acknowledgment dialog that binds them to the sourcing, content, and opt-out rules described below (see §2).
No marketing, promotional, political, loan/lending, age-gated, or gambling content is sent on this campaign.
Burt does not send SMS based on end-user web opt-in. SMS is only sent from AI agents that a Burt tenant has explicitly configured with the Send SMS tool enabled. The tool cannot be turned on without clicking through a compliance acknowledgment dialog that binds the tenant to the consent and message-content rules for every SMS that agent will send.
